More about me….
I was raised to believe that therapy was foolish and unnecessary; a sentiment many of my clients have shared with me on our first meeting. I have learned that therapy is about growth and connection. The stigma surrounding mental health has caused unnecessary suffering for countless individuals. My passion for partnering with law enforcement stems from this belief. In this population, we see a significantly higher rate of divorce as well as a propensity for trauma. It is my greatest hope that we will soon see accessible, stigma-free mental health support for LEOs.
My approach to therapy is unique, as I invite humor and levity into our sessions. My personal goal is to create an environment where each client feels they have a confidential space to explore their thoughts, needs, and experiences. I believe that each client knows themselves best, and it is from this “self” space that we can work together with guidance. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, and volunteering in my community.
